bwtech@UMBC South offers resident companies a strategic location near BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, downtown Baltimore and the federal agencies in the Washington, D.C. corridor and free and plentiful surface parking for both employees and visitors. The location makes bwtech@UMBC an ideal place for technology, bioscience and research organizations at all stages of development.
bwtech@UMBC South is located about a mile from the UMBC campus. The three buildings total 165,000 square feet, including 55,000 square fet of wet lab space. The main building has four floors and includes a full-service cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch daily; one building houses the Maryland Clean Energy Technology Incubator; and the third building is used for professional training courses offered by UMBC Training Centers.
