Dr. Bieberich is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at UMBC. Prior to joining UMBC in 1997, Dr. Bieberich was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at George Washington University Medical Center. Dr. Bieberich also was a scientist with the American Red Cross, a visiting scientist at the National Cancer Institute, and a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biology at Yale University. Dr. Bieberich received his Ph.D. (Biology) in 1987 from the Johns Hopkins University and his B.S. (Biology) in 1982 from the University of Tampa.
