Mr. Preston is President of Preston Realty, LLC, a commercial real estate development firm focusing on retail development. Formerly Mr. Preston was Vice President, Acquisition and Development at Mid-Atlantic Realty Trust (MART), a REIT focusing on retail commercial development. Mr. Preston’s responsibilities included the acquisition, development and redevelopment of the company’s shopping center portfolio. Mr. Preston was also formerly Vice President, Development at BTR Realty, Inc. (predecessor to MART). Mr. Preston is a licensed real estate broker (Maryland) and a Certified Leasing Specialist. He currently serves as a Trustee on the Western Maryland College Board. Mr. Preston received an M.A. from Towson University and a B.A. from McDaniel College.
