POSITION TITLE: Refrigeration Service Technician III
Position Summary:
Service Technicians will perform prescribed, routine maintenance procedures on refrigeration systems and self-contained temperature controlled merchandisers. Knowledge, experience and certification in working with refrigerants and chemicals.
Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures including OSHA and any local authorities governing requirements. Ability to work independently, responsibly & safely at customer sites. Must have good communication skills with team and customers and ensure timely job completion of all jobs.
Qualifications:
Prefer 10+ years practical field experience in the HVAC/Refrigeration industry.
Experienced applicants are preferable.
Physically able to climb and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of HVAC
EPA 608 Universal Certification
Major Duties:
• Perform preventive maintenance, compressor change assists, leak detection and coil washing,
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning equipment for walk-In/reach-in display freezers and coolers, A/C systems, Air Exchangers, Air Handlers, Roof top units.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electrical and electronic control systems
• Acquire knowledge through on the job training, and new product developments
